Located just 1 Km from Coimbatore, the Isha Yoga Centre is part of the Isha Foundation, a non-profit and non-religious centre founded by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. The centre is situated at the base of the picturesque Velliangiri Mountains, providing visitors with a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere.
The centre runs various yoga and wellness programs for people. The famous 112-feet large bust sculpture of Adiyogi Shiva is installed here. The bust is now a landmark and is among the popular Coimbatore tourist places.
V O Chidambaranar park and the zoo is one of the best places to visit in Coimbatore with friends and family. A zoological garden and an amusement park, the place houses more than 500 animals. The park is an excellent way to educate kids about different types of animals.
The park has a designated play area for kids, a Jurassic park with life-sized replicas of dinosaurs, and an aquarium. You can also munch on some delectable snacks at a restaurant inside the park premises.
