Goa to host first-ever Brezelfest – All You Need to Know

 First-ever Brezelfest to take place in Goa featuring authentic German food, beer, live music and much more.

This November, Goa will host its first-ever Brezelfest, a lively festival celebrating German culture, food, and traditions in the heart of India’s tropical paradise. Known for its beaches, parties, and unique blend of Portuguese and Indian heritage, Goa will now add a German flair to its diverse cultural offerings. Brezelfest, inspired by Germany's Oktoberfest, will take place on November 7, 2024 at The Basein Madgaon. 

With tickets starting at start at INR 450, the Brezelfest will feature a variety of events, including live music by Die Kirchdorfer Oktoberfest Band from Munich, art workshops, and an array of authentic German culinary. In addition to this, Seven Rivers Brewing Co. is providing 600 litres of specially brewed Munich Helles and 300 litres of German Pilsner, allowing festival-goers to savor authentic German brews in an atmosphere reminiscent of Munich’s Oktoberfest.

Alongside German cuisine and drinks, the festival will host numerous activities that spotlight the shared heritage and growing ties between Germany and Goa. Visitors can expect workshops on German crafts, language classes, and interactive booths, providing a peek into Germany’s rich cultural landscape. Additionally, local Goan artisans will showcase their crafts, fostering a blend of Indo-German creative exchanges.

Brezelfest aims to attract not only local attendees but also tourists from all over India and international travelers who seek a unique experience. The festival’s organizers anticipate it will become an annual event, promoting Goa tourism in the post-monsoon season. With Goa’s picturesque backdrop and the festival’s vibrant lineup, Brezelfest promises to be an exciting addition to Goa’s cultural calendar, drawing crowds eager to celebrate the fusion of Indian and German traditions.
