Kenya announces visa-free entry for travellers across the globe. This significant move is to foster travel and tourism in Kenya at the very beginning of 2024.
In the latest development, Kenyan President, William Ruto announced visa-free access to visitors regardless of nationality. This ground-breaking decision aims to embrace globalization and enhance socio-economic growth.
"Beginning January 2024, Kenya will be a visa-free country. It shall no longer be necessary for any person from any corner of the globe to carry the burden of applying for a visa to come to Kenya," Ruto said. To implement visa-free travel for tourists, a digital platform has been developed to issue electronic travel authorization which will simplify travel procedures.
President Ruto extended the nation's hospitality by declaring, "Kenya has a simple message to humanity: Welcome Home!” Renowned for vast savannas and equatorial landscapes, the country tremendously relies on tourism as a key contributor to its economy. It is most likely Kenya’s efforts to rank high in the list of most sought-after tourist destinations will bear fruit in the year 2024.
With so much to offer, tourists from India have been consistently flocking to this part of the world for decades. For travellers who have their eyes on venturing out into the wild, Kenya is a paradise worth exploring.
