Indian Railways to Run 1000+ Trains to Ayodhya in First 100 Days of Ram Mandir Inauguration

The Indian Railways is all set to operate over 1000+ trains around the first 100 days of the grand inauguration ceremony of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. The trains are scheduled to begin on January 19th connecting major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Nagpur, Lucknow and Jammu and Kashmir.
In a bid to facilitate the journey of pilgrims to Ayodhya, Indian Railways has planned to operate 1000+ trains beginning from January 19th. The doors of the Ram Mandir will open to visitors on January 23rd, a day after the sanctification ceremony of Lord Rama’s Idol.
As per the reports, the trains will connect Ayodhya with numerous cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Nagpur, Lucknow and Jammu and Kashmir. Sources have also revealed that the number of trains can also be increased based on the demands.
To handle the expected influx of pilgrims, the Ayodhya station which was under renovation will be complete by January 15th. It is capable of accommodating daily footfall of around 50,000 individuals. In addition to this, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is also prepped to provide round-the-clock services to meet the demands of pilgrims visiting Ayodhya.
Devotees visiting the holy spot can now make the most of the opportunity to ride on an electric catamaran on the holy Saryu River. With a capacity of accommodating 100 people, the catamaran will serve as an added attraction for devotees looking forward to sinking into the spiritual spirit of Ayodhya.
Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat, in his Dasara speech on Tuesday, had asked the people of India to organize programs at temples near their homes as a mark of celebration of Ram temple inauguration. Indeed it will be a day worth remembering in the history of India, when the Ram Janam Bhumi will witness the unveiling of the holiest shrine that is symbolic of the birth of Lord Rama.
