We had a great stay at Hatgad. We will definitely visit this place sometime in monsoon season. We travelled by road from Mumbai. The journey was pleasant as the roads were also good in general with a few hiccups here and there.

The staff at the resort were very pleasant efficient and cooperative. The restaurant food was good. We didn't have any reason to go out of the resort for any outside food. All in all, a very good experience. This was our third visit to this resort. Only the car parking facility can have more space.

This place is just 7 kms from Saputara, a hill station in Gujarat approachable from Surat too. Beware, please don't carry alcohol in the vehicle to avoid unpleasant experience with the border authority.
