Over the long weekend of August. My parents, me, and their friends all went to Goa's new Assonora Resort. It was my Dad's birthday and he didn't know that I had decorated the room and also arranged for a cake to give him a surprise. He became so happy and that was priceless.

We all celebrated his birthday. And next day we all spent the whole day in the pool. The pool at Assonora is really good and big and has many activities. Also, the food is delicious. There are many options to choose from for the food and we were spoilt.

Friends of my parents spent their Independence Day doing the activities that were arranged by the resort. It was very relaxing and also because my parents and their friends are senior citizens their comfort was very much important and they really had a great time.
