My husband, my friend and I are holidaying at our favourite resort Club Mahindra Pondicherry. It's our favorite getaway destination the reason being it's so close to our home town Chennai and it feels like a home away from home.

This morning my friend noticed that my left ear ring (gold) was missing. I hurriedly finished my breakfast and rushed back to my room. To my dismay I saw it was cleaned and I thought I have lost the earring. I went to the adjoining room and saw a lady cleaning it. Before I could ask if if she had found the earring she fished it out of her pocket neatly wrapped in paper. Told me to take out the the wrap and put it safely in my hand bag. I was so over whelmed with this honest person-- Porkalai. NOT because I found the ear ring but meeting up with such an honest person in spite of her humble status. Wish there were more people like her in the world. God bless her and her family
