Paro Taktsang, famously known as the Tiger’s Nest Monastery, is perched dramatically on a cliff 3,120 meters above sea level. A sacred pilgrimage site, it is believed that Guru Rinpoche flew to this location on the back of a tiger to meditate. The hike to the monastery offers stunning vistas, making it one of Bhutan’s most iconic landmarks.
