This heavenly home couldn’t ask for a more idyllic location. The sprawling greens this home is surrounded by, create a sense that the entire hillside is your playground. You will also find many seating and lounging areas to unwind by these ethereal views. Inside, lounge by the aesthetic living area, and dine lavishly with tropical plants and wooden french windows that create a pretty border for your uninterrupted mountain views. The wooden flooring, charming ceiling beams, and quaint kitchen are perfect for rustling up a scrumptious barbecue meal - this holiday home is beyond perfect. But we’ve saved our favourite feature for last: the soulful deck area. Nothing beats the gorgeous views from here - the sun setting in the lush Wayanad valleys inviting a live display of beautiful birds, exotic wildlife, and sunset hues. The bedrooms and bathrooms are earthy and tropical - decked with tall windows so guests feel connected to nature at all times. Sit back, relax and sip on your favourite beverages while you look at the exhilarating view beyond.

We care for your absolute comfort! To that effect, we provide:

This is not a wheelchair-friendly property. Pets are allowed.

The Space:

BEDROOMS
- From the moment you walk into this quaint home, you will feel a sense of tropical calmness. The same sense and vibe extend to the bedrooms as well.
- Decked with a multitude of lavish amenities, this home offers 3 bedrooms - 2 on the ground floor and 1 on the first floor. 
- Each of the bedrooms offers a comfortable bed, Wi-Fi access, a wardrobe, an ensuite bathroom, and an electric kettle. An extra mattress can be provided, on request.
- One of the bedrooms on the ground floor does not offer an AC. Given that Wayanad is known for its ever-pleasant climate, air-conditioning is a luxury we don't really require here.
- At Mountain Rain, every window is a view. With wrap-around views of magical slopes and euphoric panoramas, you will feel at one with nature at all times.
- To relax and pamper yourself, one of the bathrooms is fitted with a bathtub so you can draw yourself a bubble bath and end your day in the most surreal way.

BATHROOMS
- There are 3 attached bathrooms and 1 powder room on the ground floor.
- Each of these tropical-themed bathrooms offers geysers, towels, and lavish toiletries for the most relaxing bath.
- One of the bathrooms also offered an opulent bathtub.

COMMON AREAS
- As you drive into this tropical haven, park by the entrance and step out of your ride, you are sure to be intrigued by the unending greenery that surrounds you, aesthetic wooden details, and an entrance that will lead you to the spectacular living room.
- Walk up the stairs and you will step foot into the living room with a 40-inch TV. Offering comfortable, formal seating for up to 8 people, the home is brimming with cosy reading nooks and seating areas that will surround you with a sense of bliss.
- The wraparound balconies let in ample soothing sunlight and breeze into the home, at all times of the day.
- The dining area is part of the living room and can seat up to 6 people comfortably.
- Thanks to the spacious porch and blissful balconies, guests can sit & relax under the sunrise or sunset hues while enjoying the panoramic view.
- Whereas the lawn and trekking trails around the property are perfect for a peaceful walk, meditation session, or a fun picnic here with your loved ones.

KITCHEN
- Guests may use the kitchen to make tea, coffee, instant noodles, and simple food for infants, but not for elaborate cooking.
- It is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, oven, refrigerator, and water purifier.
- Crockery and cutlery are available.

FOOD
- Breakfast is complimentary basis availability.
- For all other meals, guests can choose to order in or eat out at nearby restaurants.

GUEST ACCESS
The guests have access to the entire villa. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. 

STAFF ACCOMMODATION
We are unable to provide accommodation for your personal staff.

ACTIVITIES
Wake up to the rhythmic sounds of chirping birds at this exotic home, just hours away from the main city. The aura is so relaxing, you would just want to snuggle on the comfortable bed. Feel free to go around the house and admire tastefully designed spaces, with the backdrop of the Wayanad valleys. At some point during the tour, you will walk into the irresistible viewing deck. With an unrestricted view of the lush green horizons, you will feel like you own the jungle. A scrumptious barbecue session as you catch up with your loved ones is truly recommended.

HOME TRUTHS
While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later!
- The road leading up to the villa may not be concrete. 
- This is a pet-friendly property.
- In case of a power outage, the generator can support all the appliances for up to 24 hours. 
- All mobile networks work fairly well here.
- Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed.
- Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM.
- There are CCTV cameras that capture the external areas for security purposes. 
- The caretaker stays on the premises of the same property. 
- Guests can stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Network is subject to availability at any given time.

NEIGHBOURHOOD
Blessed with misty peaks, virgin forests, and paddy fields, Wayanad is a green heaven in the northeast region of Kerala. Truly a nature lover’s paradise, this forested district is home to the most vivid wildlife sanctuary, caves, waterfalls, and all things green. An added benefit for those who love to spend time outdoors, Wayanad is a great spot to handpick the finest southern spices. So, while you’re enjoying your peaceful stay at this property, here are a few nearby places and activities we recommend to make your stay even more memorable.
- Go sightseeing, trekking, boating or just spend some peaceful time near Banasura Sagar Dam
- Take a brief stroll and embrace the beauty of Kuruva Island
- Explore Edakkal Caves 
- Soak in the greenery by trekking at Chembra Peak

- Distance from Calicut International Airport - 75.7 km.
- Distance from Westhill Railway Station - 58 km.
- Distance from Vythiri Bus Stand - 2 km.
- Distance from New Fresh Market - 2.2 km.

POLICIES
- The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
- The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
- Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa.
- All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
- Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.
- Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics - is strictly not permitted.
- Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted.
- A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in. 
- This entire amount is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
