THE SPACE

BEDROOM 1 
This is a well-furnished bedroom on the ground floor that features a separate seating area. 
The room offers a variety of amenities including 2 king-sized beds, a TV, a wardrobe, and Wi-Fi access. 
It has an ensuite bathroom equipped with a geyser, towels, and basic toiletries.

It is eloquently furnished with plush sofa-style seating arrangements for up to 9 people, along with beautiful artwork and trinkets. 
It is equipped with amenities such as a TV, Wi-Fi, a bookshelf, and wired CCTV cameras for security purposes. 

LIVING ROOM 2
This is another drawing room on the ground floor that is complete with lavish seating arrangements for up to 9 people. 
It is equipped with amenities such as a TV, Wi-Fi, and wired CCTV cameras for security purposes.  
It is also ornamented with vibrant frames, adding a pop of colour to the space. 

LIVING ROOM 3 
This is a 3rd drawing room on the ground floor that is complete with lavish seating arrangements for up to 9 people. 
It is equipped with amenities such as a TV, Wi-Fi, and wired CCTV cameras for security purposes.  
The walls of this space also boast a spread of artwork and eye-catching knick-knacks. 

DINING AREA 
There is a separate dining room, furnished with a circular dining table.
It can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. 

BATHROOMS 
There are 2 attached bathrooms.
All bathrooms have geysers, separate dressing areas, towels, and basic toiletries.

KITCHEN 
Guests do not have access to the kitchen. 
It is equipped with a water purifier, crockery, and cutlery.

ACTIVITIES
Flanked with open, spacious spaces on either side, The Alcove Cottage is a quaint cottage nestled in the heart of Ooty. Days here begin with savouring a delectable complimentary breakfast, amidst the refreshing breeze of this hill station. The many lounge spaces of the home make for perfect hang-out spots. Unwind, relax, and pick out a book to read from the stocked bookshelves whilst savouring the misty air. Come evening, gather your loved ones, and play indoor games like cards and ludo. Huddle around the bonfire and relish a lavish barbecue spread. 

ADD-ON SERVICES 
- Barbecue kit can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per use. Ingredients will be charged as per actuals. 
- Bonfire can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs. 1200 per session.

GUEST ACCESS
The guests have access to their rooms and common areas except for the kitchen. Please note that there are a total of 5 bedrooms out of which guests have access to only 2 bedrooms. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.

POLICIES
The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa.
All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.
Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics - is strictly not permitted.
Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted.
A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in. 
This entire amount is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
