Located in the Himalayan mountainside, with views over the picturesque snow-clad peaks and crystal clear skies, this quaint and cosy villa welcomes you to adopt the unhurried pahadi lifestyle. Set in the ever-famous town of Gagar; quite well-known for its fruit orchards and walkways lined with vivid flowers on either side, make your way to these beautiful cottages that ooze nothing but comfort and warmth. With modern yet minimalistic wooden interiors, this modest home paints a picture straight out of a gable. Relax for a long, lazy day in the dappled shade, taking up the calming ambience that this plush pad has to offer.

This quintessential home is particularly spectacular at sunset when the evening light hits the snow-clad peaks of major Himalayan peaks of Trishul, Nanda Devi, and the Pancha Chuli in the distance.

- Parking space for up to 2 cars outside the main villa

This is neither a wheelchair-friendly nor a pet-friendly property. 

The Space:

BEDROOMS
- Emanating a soothing and comfortable aura, there are 2 warm and cosy bedrooms situated on the ground floor.
- Both rooms offer a multitude of amenities such as a king-sized bed, an extra mattress, TV, Wi-Fi, electric kettle, a heater, and a wardrobe.
- The rooms are also equipped with an ensuite bathroom.

BATHROOM
- There are 2 ensuite bathrooms - on the ground floor.
- All bathrooms are equipped with geysers, towels and basic toiletries.

COMMON AREAS
- The living room on the ground floor with its sofa-style seating arrangements can accommodate 6 people.
- It is well-furnished with amenities such as a portable music system, Wi-Fi, TV, and a heater.
- Your walk through the living room will lead you to a cosy dining area; which is a component of the living room.
- It can accommodate up to 6 people and is equipped with a heater.
- This quaint home also features a plethora of cosy nooks; each with a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside.
- There is a common patio on the ground floor of this cottage which has ample seating space for up to 6 people.

KITCHEN
- Guests do not have access to the kitchen.
- It is equipped with a water purifier, crockery, and cutlery.

FOOD
- Breakfast is complimentary.
- All other meals can be provided in-house on an a la carte basis.
- Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to the entire villa except for the kitchen. Please note that there are two other cottages on the same premises out which guests have access to only one cottage. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. The caretaker will be available from 7 AM to 11 PM.

STAFF ACCOMMODATION
We are unable to provide accommodation for your personal staff.

ACTIVITIES
Nestled in the midst of greenery, lies this quaint property which features a multitude of activities to indulge in. These carefully designed experiences ensure that you and your tribe have a pleasant and unforgettable stay with us. Within the premises of the property, guests can enjoy some quality family time while playing some indoor board games. The common patio ensures you get the best view of the starry night or dusky mornings.  Get to hear the twittering birds, the buzzing of the bees, and whistling of the cool northern winds from every nook of this cosy chalet. Find a peaceful nook and immerse yourself in the literary world while also sipping on your hot cuppa.  When the chilly air sets in, guests can request a bonfire to be lit up while also savouring a scrumptious barbecue feast. Reserve your evenings or early mornings to satisfy your inner wanderlust by going on treks and trails around the property.

ADD-ON SERVICES
- Barbecue kit can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs. 500. Raw materials will be charged as per actuals.
- Bonfire setup can be availed at an extra cost of Rs. 1000 for 2 hours.
- Prices may vary subject to availability and peak season rates.

HOME TRUTHS
While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later!
- Please note that there are two other cottages on the same premises out of which guests have access to only one cottage.
- This is not a pet-friendly property.
- In case of a power outage, the generator can support all lights and fans for up to 24 hours.
- All mobile networks work fairly well here.
- Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM.
- Guests can stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Network is subject to availability at any given time.
- There are CCTV cameras that capture the common areas and the kitchen.
- This property is part of a gated community.
- The caretaker resides on the premises of the property.
- Guests are advised to remain cautious of bugs and insects around the property due to its natural surroundings.

POLICIES
- The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
- The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
- Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa.
- All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
- Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.
- Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics - is strictly not permitted.
- Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted.
- A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in. 
- This entire amount is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
