The Verandah is a hillside homestay that is so lovely, it's worth making a trip to Bhimtal just to stay here. The interiors are tasteful, cosy and welcoming. The utmost priority for the staff is guest comfort. Every room has a verandah that offers stunning panoramic views of wooded mountains and terraces. Waking up to this beauty, bathed in radiant light, is an indescribable feeling. Explore trekking, boating, and paragliding that are available at short distances. Most people, though, simply love to laze on the deck, soak in the view, and listen to birdsong.

We care for your absolute comfort. To that effect, we provide:
- Power back-up, heaters, TV, WiFi

- Secured parking space for 3 cars

BEDROOMS
- There are 3 bedrooms.
- Heaters, TVs and attached bathrooms are offered in all the rooms. 
- Balconies are offered in all the rooms. 
- All bedrooms have double beds. 
 
BATHROOMS
- There are 3 bathrooms - all attached.
- All bathrooms have geysers, towels and basic toiletries.

COMMON AREAS: 
- The living room seats up to 8-10 people.
- It offers TV and WiFi. 
- There is a lawn with seating for up to 8 people. 
 
KITCHEN
 - Guests do not have access to the kitchen.
- The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a gas stove, a microwave, and a water purifier.
- Crockery and cutlery are available for up to 12 people.

FOOD
- Breakfast is complimentary. 
- Vegetarian and non-vegetarian lunch and dinner can be provided at an additional cost.
- For a booking of more than 4-6 nights, lunch and dinner can be prepared by the in-house cook at an additional cost of Rs. 2,000 per day. Groceries will be charged as per actuals. However, under this arrangement, guests will have to use their own provisions for breakfast. 
- Snacks can be provided at an additional cost on an a la carte basis.
- Guests can also choose to eat out at nearby restaurants.

STAFF ACCOMMODATION
We are unable to provide driver accommodation within the villa premises. However, it can be arranged nearby at an additional cost of Rs.700 per person, per night. The stay cost does not include meals, which must be arranged separately. Meals will not be provided at the villa. Maid accommodation charges are Rs 1500 + 12% GST per person, per day (not inclusive of meals).
 
GUEST ACCESS
The guests have access to their unit only. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to shared amenities.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is often at the property but in case she is not, she is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible housekeeper is present at the property to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. 

ACTIVITIES
Within the property, guests can enjoy playing indoor games like cards and ludo. Guests can take peaceful walks in the village, to the stunning Pine Glade in one direction or to Sunset Point, from where you can see Naukuchiatal Lake, in the other.  They can also ask for a bonfire to be lit up for as they indulge in conversations with their loved ones.

HOME TRUTHS
- Please note, if this listing is booked there may be other guests besides you and your group here.
- This is a standalone property.
- This is not a pet-friendly property.
- Although safe, the owners will have to park their vehicles at their own risk.
- WiFi, although available, is subject to network availability at any given time.
- Mobile networks such as Jio, Airtel, and Vi work fairly well here.ADDITIONAL COSTS:
- The indoor fireplace can be used at an additional cost of Rs. 800 per 3 hours. 
- A bonfire can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs. 1800.
- A barbecue can be arranged at an additional cost.
- Please note that the property does not offer ACs.

 
HOUSE RULES

- Loud music is not allowed post 10 PM.

- Pets are strictly not allowed inside the premises of the property.

- Smoking is only allowed outdoors.

- Stags are not allowed at the property.

- No outside food is allowed at the villa.

- Smoke alarms are present at the property.

POLICIES
- The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
- The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
- Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa.
- All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
- Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.
- Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics - is strictly not permitted.
- Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted.
- A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in.
- This entire amount is refunded within five working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
- For bookings with kids, a refundable security deposit of Rs. 5000 will be levied at the time of booking.
