Taking a step towards a sustainable future, this property has been constructed by local artisans using all-natural materials sourced from the local neighbourhoods. 

A walk through the stone & wooden interiors of the villa will instantly tell you a tale behind its warm and cosy furnishings that actually retain the room's natural temperature, be it any weather! P.S. Don’t be surprised if you sometimes hear the floor-boards ‘groan’ as you step on them – it will have nothing to do with their sturdiness or stability, but everything to do with wood’s ‘young’ age.  Envision yourself enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding verdant pine-covered forests, while the chilly breeze wafts an aroma of solitude and takes away the tiredness of your city life.

BEDROOMS
- With interiors that make an interesting contrast between rock-solid walls, aged wooden floors, and luxurious amenities, this wooden chalet offers 4 bedrooms - 2 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor.
- Designed with charming furnishings, all bedrooms offer a myriad of amenities such as a king-sized bed, an extra mattress, Wi-Fi access, a heater, an electric kettle, and a designated workstation.
- 2 rooms on the ground floor and 2 rooms on the first floor also open up to an attached patio and balcony that offers a view of the evergreen forest.
- All rooms are also equipped with an ensuite bathroom.

BATHROOMS
- There are 4 ensuite bathrooms.
- All bathrooms are equipped with geysers, towels, and basic toiletries.

COMMON AREAS
- Appearing ever-so-shyly while emerging from the camouflage of acres of uninterrupted nature, this warm abode features snug interiors that exude modern luxury in the midst of pure nature.
- The huge open-to-sky deck is one of the highlights of this property and is the perfect spot to spend some time with your loved ones while admiring the pine-surrounded rolling vistas.
- It offers ample seating arrangements for up to 12 people.
- The interiors also feature a separate dining area that can accommodate up to 10 people.
- It is not equipped with an AC or TV.
- The classy interiors also offer an abundance of tastefully done cosy nooks that provide a picture-perfect view of the surroundings.
- Make your way to the verdurous exteriors of this charming abode that feature a sprawling lush lawn covering an area of 900 sq.ft.
- Spend your dewy mornings strolling through its expanse or indulge in some fun outdoor sessions here.
- As you wander through the sage pastels of the lawn, find yourselves at the quaint gazebo that can seat up to 10 people comfortably.
- Guests can enjoy a sumptuous barbecue meal here while getting a glimpse of the starlit sky.

KITCHEN
- Guests can access the kitchen only for reheating purposes.
- The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, oven, and water purifier.
- High-quality crockery, glassware, and cutlery are available.

FOOD
- Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals can be provided at an additional cost.
- A barbecue kit/meal can be arranged at an extra charge.
- The costs for the aforementioned food and beverage offerings and events are subject to an 18% GST charge.
- Prices and items may vary subject to availability and peak season rates.
- Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed.

GUEST ACCESS
The guests have access to the entire villa. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. The caretaker will be available from 8 AM to 9 PM.

STAFF ACCOMMODATION
We can provide accommodation for up to 1 personal staff at an additional charge of Rs. 1000 per night. The cost for staff meals will align with that of adult meals, and an 18% GST charge will be added to these charges.

Stroll through the expanse of the green lawn and take in the beautiful views of pine-surrounded rolling vistas in complete solitude. The gazebo offers the perfect setting for working with a view.  A stay at this luxe abode also features a myriad of immersive activities such as nature walks, treks, and trails, picnics by the river, and day trips around the locally famous spots. With an indulgent experience like this, this charming abode is bound to leave you with a trove full of memories.

ADD-ON SERVICES

- Barbecue kit will be provided at an additional cost per meal. Raw materials for the same will be charged as per actuals.

- A bonfire setup can be arranged at an additional charge of Rs. 1500 for a duration of 2 hours.
- Luggage assistance can be provided from the parking space to the main villa on a complimentary basis.
- A picnic setup can be arranged by the Kosi river at an extra charge.
- Guests can choose to tour or trek to the Sun Temple Katarmal at an additional charge.
- A day trip to Ranikhet, Kasauni or Almora can be arranged for the guests at an additional cost.

HOME TRUTHS
While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later!
- Although the main villa is 700 metres/10-minute walk away from the parking space, the road leading up to the villa is an experience in itself. Guests can explore the Kanelli Village, its colourful markets, temples, and home-grown vegetable patches.
- Due to the villa being located in a forest area, guests are advised to reach the property before sunset.  
- All-male groups are allowed. However, a security deposit is required at the time of booking.
- This is a pet-friendly property. However, guests are liable to take their entire responsibility.
- Please note that pets are not allowed in the kitchen-cum-dining area.
- Guests are requested to be cautious and ensure that they extinguish all flames fully due to the nature of the pine woods full of pine oil which is highly flammable.
- Please note that the premises of the property are not equipped with an AC.
- In case of a power outage, the 1 KVA inverter can support most appliances except for deep freezers and heavy equipment for up to 5 hours.
- All mobile networks work fairly well here.
- Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM.
- Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed.
- The property is located in a secluded area.
- There are CCTV cameras that capture the external areas of the property for security purposes.
- This is a standalone property.
- The caretaker resides on the premises of the property and will be available from 8 AM to 9 PM.

A cantonment town in the state of Uttarakhand, Almora is located on a ridge at the southern edge of the Kumaon Hills of the Himalaya range. Due to its location, it enjoys a year-round mild temperate climate. Just 63 kms north of Nainital, Almora lies at an elevation of 1800m. So, while you’re enjoying your peaceful stay at this property, here are a few nearby places and activities we recommend to make your stay even more memorable.
- Trek to Zero Point.
- Go to temples like Kasar Devi Temple and Katarmal Temple.

POLICIES
- The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
- The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
- Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa.
- All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
- Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.
- Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics - is strictly not permitted.
- Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted.
- A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in.
- This entire amount is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
