If you’re an animal lover, you will enjoy the presence of the livestock around. Guests can enjoy a swim, or play games like box cricket, badminton and foosball. The home is close to Mukane reservoir, in case you feel like stepping out or unwind peacefully at the lawn, savouring the breathtaking, paradise-like view.

This is not a wheelchair-friendly property, nor a pet-friendly property. 

The Space:

BEDROOMS
- There are 4 bedrooms - all on the ground floor, 2 in the main villa and 2 in the outhouse.  
- AC, king-sized beds, attached bathrooms and balconies are offered in all rooms.
- The 2 rooms in the outhouse have a separate entrance. 

BATHROOMS
- There are 4 bathrooms in the villa - all attached.
- All the bathrooms have solar geysers, towels and basic toiletries.

COMMON AREAS
- The open-air living room seats up to 10 people. 
- The dining area seats 16 people. 
- There is a lawn which is suitable for small events.
- The terrace offers seating for up to 24 people. There are 6 tables and 24 chairs available. 
- There are 2 balconies with seating for up to 2 people. 
- There is a swimming pool that is 20x40 ft. in size and 4 ft. in depth. 
- It is accessible from 7 AM to 8 PM. 

KITCHEN
- Guests do not have access to the kitchen. 
- The kitchen is equipped with a water purifier and refrigerator. 
- Crockery and cutlery are also available.

FOOD
- All meals can be provided at an additional cost.
- Prepared with a local touch and freshly sourced ingredients, our home-style dining experience is highly recommended. The meals will be delivered to the villa.
- Guests are requested to share their meal preferences and payments at least 72 hours prior to check-in.
- Guests cannot order in from restaurants.

GUEST ACCESS

The guests have access to the entire villa except for the kitchen. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present at the property to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. 

STAFF ACCOMMODATION
We can provide accommodation for your drivers at an additional cost of Rs. 500 per person, per day, exclusive of meal charges.

ACTIVITIES
Within the property, guests can enjoy a swim, play outdoor games like box cricket, football or badminton, or enjoy indoor games. Guests can take a peaceful walk in nature and embrace its beauty. Guests can soak in the authentic farm experience and feed the livestock. They can relish scrumptious meals in the open cafe. They can also enjoy the beautiful views from the terrace. They can request for a bonfire to be lit up. 

ADDITIONAL COST
- A bonfire can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 per session.
- Cricket kit, Football, badminton kit and board games are available on request.
- Guests can also avail of the camping tents facility for up to 5 tents, at an extra cost of Rs. 2000 per tent.

HOME TRUTHS
While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later!

- The road leading up to the villa is not concrete. We recommend bringing a car with good ground clearance. 
- Kindly keep all windows and doors shut throughout the day, especially during monsoons, given the presence of insects around.
- Since the property is in a rural area, there may be power supply issues. However, a generator and inverter are available at the property that support all appliances.
- The villa is located in a relatively secluded area.
- Owing to the proximity to nature, there may be bugs and insects.
- There is a friendly dog residing on the premises of the same property.
- There is a CCTV camera installed near the entrance and the pool for security purposes.  
- The caretaker stays on the premises of the same property.
- We are unable to offer Wi-Fi here, however, cellular networks work fairly well. 
- Given the increased need for sanitization and deep cleaning required before every stay, we are unable to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs for the safety of the guests and staff members.

Tucked away in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, Igatpuri serves as a fond weekend getaway for those visiting from Mumbai and Pune. It is a major hill station and town that is home to one of the highest peaks in the state along with some beautiful waterfalls, forts and absolutely unrestricted access to nature. So, while you’re enjoying your luxurious stay at Volendam Acres, here are a few nearby places and activities we recommend to make your stay even more memorable.

HOUSE RULES
- Loud music is not allowed post 8 PM.
- Drinking is allowed only in the designated areas. 
- Outside food is not allowed.
- Food is not allowed in the villa. All food will be served in the cafe. 
- Diving is strictly prohibited. 
- Visitors are strictly not allowed. 
- Once the booking is confirmed, guests are requested to provide confirmation for in-house meals. 
- Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care.
- Please note that hookah/sheesha is not permitted on the premises due to local regulations.

POLICIES
- The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed.
- The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
- Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa.
- All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
- All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
- Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement.
- Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics - is strictly not permitted.
- Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted.
- A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in. 
- This entire amount is refunded within 5 working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
